Relax, Refresh, Recharge

The hectic weekday may have run your energy down to the lowest level and here comes the much-needed weekend. It may pass in a blink or two but before that happens, make time to let your hair down and kick off those shoes. Roll on the floor as you like.

While you are at it, include these 3 quick and important tips for your body to make your weekend (or any other day) count.

“Close your eyes, clear your heart, let it go”

I don’t actually mean the songs from The Killer nor Frozen. (but carry on if it relates to you..)
Literally, close your eyes, clear your heart and let it go. It is important to know that your health and well-being is taken care off. As simple as it sound, we often take it like lightly. But relaxing really does wonders to your body. It helps to bring your stress level down and consequently increase your health. Take at least 10 minutes a day to wind down. Listening to music is a great therapy. Slow, gentle soothing music proves to improve our creativity, learning and memory. Your best ideas pops out and makes you jump to be at it right away when you are most relaxed and in the free thinking mode. Go there..

“Sometimes you never realise the value of a moment until it becomes a memory”
Dr Seuss

Renew yourself from your mundane routine. Listen to your body. It needs to be refreshed everyday and every other weekend. It is okay, take a quick break. In fact, it is necessary. What good does it do to your body when it is obvious that your mind is stuck in a rut? Allow your mind to wander or simply watch the clouds moving to refresh your mind. It’s that important I personally feel it should be in your to do list! Oh look, that’s a bunny!

“Take time to recharge. You do it for your phone, why not do it for yourself?”

Recharging gives you the energy to move everyday. Now, I’m not talking by consuming all those energy drinks here. Recharge here I mean is a process that takes time. And it’s called sleeping. All living things need to rest. Neither of us are designed like superheroes nor built like factory machines to run 24/7 365 days straight. In some cases we wish we are but unfortunately, no. Do yourself the favour. Your body balances itself and releases ”repairing hormones” for your body while you sleep. Not only it keeps your body healthy, it helps you to fight sickness as well. Feel the after effects of a well rested night after the “repair crew” come to your rescue.

Now, aren’t you looking great??!
